As you would have noticed, the word “Experience” dominates over here – and there is a very important reason for that. That word is what defines Zycus’ philosophy. When we first started selling sophisticated solutions to our customers years ago, we realized that no matter how awesome the technology was, people would never use it unless they liked using it. So we plonked some cash down for some likeable “Human Interface Guys”. They observed real people at work, took coffee breaks with them, visited Bar Mitzwahs – whatever it took to understand what it would take to make them like our software. Did it work? Well… more than a decade and 150 global customers later, we still see smiles on their faces. And it warms our heart. Because underneath the hype of technological brilliance – what really works in human experience.
This is the experience the Zycus will try to promote, disseminate, brag and sing about (and even engage in self-criticism about) on this blog. And hope that the rest of the procurement community joins in the conversation. The theme of the blog will keep changing to reflect what we are up to at a particular point in time… but the essence of it all will never change. It will always be about you, and your experience.
